Established in 1995, Suniye is a support school providing free service to hearing impaired children enabling them to listen, speak, read, write and join mainstream society. So far, Suniye has helped hundreds of children over the years.
Ms. Sangeeta Charan, a Singaporean artist of Nepalese and Indian origin and a Patron of Suniye, has been supporting by donating her paintings to raise funds for Suniye's activities. The proceeds from the sale would go towards the education of the hearing impaired children of Suniye. We urge you to support us in our endeavor "buy a painting to help a child hear"!
Artist statement: "Suniye, through its support school, is doing a wonderful job of giving hope to children with hearing disabilities, so that they can be integrated into our society. I am really glad to be part of this journey to help them reach their goals."

About Ms. Sangeeta Charan
Right from childhood, Sangeeta was drawn towards art which eventually became a passion for her. She has been devoting her time in the pursuit of art for more than 20 years and has numerous exhibitions to her credit. She draws inspiration from her surroundings, experiences and memories which culminate on the canvas in rich bold colours and textures. Her paintings can be found in private collections in many parts of the world.
